        Hiya!

My parents recently adopted a new rabbit, Lexie, but are unsure of the breed. Would anyone be able to tell me what breed she is? She was about 8-10 weeks old in this picture. It looks like she is going to be quite big – she is only roughly 4 months old and is nearly bigger than my 1.5 year old bun, Merlin!

        Thanks in advance!

http://rabbitbreeds.org/identify-rabbit-breed.php this may be of use

She looks kinda like the English spot, but then again, I think its just the fur coat making me say that lol

She almost looks like a rex mix. She doesn’t have the fur type which is a little off putting for me.

She looks like a Rex to me – not sure if she would be mini or standard. She’s cute.

I definitely see Rex too. She has Rex fur and head shape.

It will be much easier to tell once she is older, a lot of breed characteristics develop with age, and adult size he a big indicator.

I also was wondering about some kind of rex. If you look at the pictures on the ARBA site, don’t be fooled into thinking mini rex b/c the spots match, spots are common in many breeds. The defining trait of the rexes in the short plush velvety coat, and the main difference between a mini rex and a rex is adult size which can’t be determined till she is an adult.

Her coat looks short and plush in the photo, but it is sometimes a trick of the light. How the coat feels and looks in real life will be a better indicator.

                    She’s most likely a mix.
She might have some rex in her. But it’s hard to tell, like the others said, without adult weight/size.

                    She sure is pretty though!
