I really never thought I would have to write this for a couple more years but it happened Wilbur passed away from a stroke. My poor baby boy. He was 8 1/2 years old and we had him since he was a few months old. Found him running around outside one day on our way to put a pet rat down. He was our first rabbit & we adored him. He brought us into the new world of rabbits and I thank him for that. I still feel like a piece of my heart has been taken, it’s truly so hard to lose them esp when I lost one in september also. I’m really not sure if we will get another rabbit but it’s so quiet in the house without him. He lived near rats all his life and sometimes acted like one so he was a noisy bunny. I miss the noise for sure! I will never forget you smooshy face.

I am so sorry. This must have been especially tough being around the holidays. What an adorable bunny Wilbur was. How lucky he was to be loved and cared so well by you. It sounds like this has been a rough time for you with your losses happening so close together. Hugs!

When a bunny crosses over, we say “Binky Free” as a way to symbolize free of any ailments and/or the positive thoughts of being able to binky on the other side.

            So Binky Free Wilbur!

BB you reminded me of how wilbur did his binky. If anyone had a holland before they look quite funny because the shape of their body, great memories. Thank you all!

What a adorable little guy. The way you found him, it sounds as if he was meant to come into your life. I agree, he lived a good life and was well loved.
