Dealing with a peeved bun….

Quantum had to stay caged for a number of hours today (an hour and a half longer due to flooded out/closed roads and me trying to get home!  But that’s another story…..) and she. is. miffed!  I thought at first she was ill; she came out of her cage (I let her out the minute I got home) and has been sulking under the curio cabinet ever since.  I was “allowed” a very few head (grooming) pets, but that’s it.  I thought she was ill, but I just noticed her laying all relaxed and stretched out (ears up at halfmast, feet straight out behind), so I doubt that’s it.

So…………how many hours/days/weeks of punishment am I due by the Queen of the Kingdom of Living Room?  And does abject groveling help at all?

today it’s not being left out. tomorrow it’ll be the wrong kinda green. the day after you’ll look at her the wrong way.

by next week, she’ll have a whole list of other reason to be pissed at you…

it’s always somethin’ with these buns… ;o)

Rabbitpam, I think you’re on to something there. Bananas….bunny kryptonite. About an hour or so after Quantum deigned to take a small slice of banana (“I’m still mad, but I suppose I could force myself to eat this, just to be the bigger bunny about it all.”), she started binkying and “Speed Racer” bunning all over the living room. A fair amount of head-pettage was also demanded. Peace once again rules our happy home.

For a “voiceless” critter, they certainly have a way of letting you know when you’re in deep, deep bunny doo.  Oh, and guess who got released out earlier than normal this morning……..Spoiled?  Naaaaah.  (Just a minute, Madam!  I’m coming!  Yes, Madam, the Romaine will be served shortly.  Of course, only on the silver salver.”)

Quantum, I know it can be frustrating – but it’s awfully funny when you tell it.

They are charactors I tell you. I suppose Cotton was mad at me for a couple of days there too. Ahh.

Oh I know the feeling. Before I could trust Felony to be free range he was confine while I was in class. One day I was super late getting home. As soon as I walked in the door I let him out. As soon as I let him out he growled at me and and followed me all around the house head butting my leg for a solid 10 minutes. He wouldn’t even so much as take raisin from me. I had to actually place it near his cage and walk away from him. He was PISSED!!!
