  well I just joined the forum(:
  
  i decided to find an active rabbit forum since i brought home a new rabbit. im semi-new to rabbits, seeing as i’ve owned one before. but he sadly passed away from natural causes
  
  i just go my new rabbit today (after not having one for over a year) we went to the local pound to actually rescue the guinea pigs they had there, but i fell in love with a sweet little AmericanX.
  
  as of now, i do not have a name for her seeing as im still trying to figure out a name to suit her sweet and laidback personality. i’ll hopefully have some pictures up soon.
  
  anything that could help me or my rabbit would be much of help. hopefully, everyone is very nice here(:

  Welcome Majik! How wonderful of you to rescue! What does she look like? i think the first thing is to not give too much freedom to fast. It really helps with littertraining for her to understand where her place is in relation to the rest of the house.
  
  If her cage is too small to keep her there then it might be a good idea to have an xpen to allow her exercise while you are gradually increasing her space.

  welcome Majik! it’s fantastic that you rescued a bunny. isn’t it funny how we go into a rescue with a certain idea in our heads, and somebunny special just warms our hearts.

  she is settling in really well. she comes to the cage when i call her name (Mindy) and she eats treats while i hold them in my hand.
  Mindy was a little scared the first hour or so when she was here but she calmed right down(:
