Ok so i just finished cleaning the floor around Aspen and Pancakes cages. Their were ALOT of little pee marks, kinda brown in color. I know it was aspen because pancakes doesnt like to come out of his cage and aspen is free roam all day. She is spayed….so what is going on? Will bunnies still mark territory even after being fixed?

Another question……..How often do you clean the litter boxes? When i first had the buns i cleaned it once a week. Now i end up cleaning it twice a week sometimes even three times.

Are the two of them bonded? If not, sometimes they’ll pee to mark their territory -especially when there is a ‘strange’ bunny around. You said Aspen is spayed, is Pancakes spayed/neutered?

Sounds like territory marking!  Spayed/Neutered buns will still mark territory especially if given a reason- like another  bunny that they need to “communicate” with via poo and pee markings.  Spaying and Neutering helps with the behavior though and will allow you to bond them and hopefully eliminate the behavior.
