Gosh I am going crazy here with Ruby and Cottons on again off again. I put them together again and was observing them.

It seems that  Ruby loves to run and click her heels together. And that makes Cotton nervous her running about like that. At that point he will chase her.

Then they get tired and go rest.  I looked over just now and they are resting with Cotton grooming Ruby’s head. Also I have them together  earlier then 6 pm which from 6 on is Cotton’s time.  I suppose both factors came into play last 2 times they were together. Plus putting her toys in his xpen with them.

Well… as long as they do ok for a few hours b4 6 pm great.  This is how I have to do it then.

Ruby makes this big racket running thru the box and tunnel. Is so funny.  They were just on opposite sides of the cage and running around it ahahaha. Trying to catch up to each other.

Oh and I need to trade out their toys too. That should help some when they are not together. Get used to each others scent on their toys.

Sometimes buns get on each other’s nerves and have a little spat. Maryann does this to Dono a couple times a week – especially around feeding time. I still have them caged together though.

That’s true, Kahlua loves to run and chase and she sometimes pushes Rupert too much and he’ll charge her a bit. I used to worry about it but they’re totally fine! He never actually bites her and it does make her stop
