        PROBLEM #1

OK, SO MY RABBIT GETS ON THE COUCH AND PEE…
IT’S OK IF HE POOPS BECAUSE THEIR POOPS DOESNT STINK ANYWAYS
        AND ITS EASY TO CLEAN..
        BUT PEE???
        IT STINKS SO BAD….
SO IS THERE ANY WAY THAT I COULD LIKE LET MY RABBIT KNOW
THAT I DONT LIKE HIM PEEING ON THE COUCH/BED???

        PROBLEM #2

I’VE LEARNED THAT WITH MY RABBIT’S AGE (8/9 MOS)
GREENS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE INTRODUCED TO THEM.
WELL FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS I STARTED FEEDING HIM
LETTUCE (I DONT KNOW WHAT KIND IT IS, BUT IM SURE IT IS NOT "ICEBURG&quot
        AND CILANTRO..
HE LOOKED LIKE HE ENJOYED EATING IT..
BUT HE’S BEEN DROPPING WEIRD "POOPIEBUTTS"
ON THE SAME SPOT IN HIS PEN….
AND TODAY, I INTRODUCED "ITALIAN PARSLEY" TO HIM
I GAVE HIM JUST A LITTLE BIT AND HE SEEMED TO LIKE IT
BUT, A LITTLE BIT LATER,after he ate,
HE JUST STARTED SITTIN IN ONE PLACE AND
THE SAD THING IS HE KEEPS ON TURNING HIS BACK ON ME
WHENEVER I TRY TO PLAY OR CALL HIM
        >>>I WONDER WHAT’S WRONG<<
        >>>IS IT THE PARSLEY?<<<
        >>>OR IS HE JUST HAVING MOOD SWINGS??<<<< IM SORRY IF I HAVE TOO MUCH QUESTIONS..
        THANKS GUYS!

        xoxo,
        donna

I’m thinking that you’re giving him too much greens to him and his body just isn’t used to it and is freaking out. Try just one thing at a time to see if it does anything to his stomach, and give a little amount- like half a leaf, or one spring of cilantro. but try just one for a few days.

The stinky pee is him marking his territory. I’m assuming he’s not fixed- because before my bunny Fujoe was fixed I would gag on the smell of his pee. It will be easier to train him when he is fixed. If my assumption is wrong, and he is fixed… then maybe he’s competing with another animal, or you for territory… limit his territory. Does he have full range of the room/house right now? Confine him for a few days and the using an x-pen give him a litle more room everyday.. this should help a lot!

            welcome to binkybunny!

well, it looks like he really liked the bibb lettuce and the cilantro..
i always fine the italian parsley in his food bowl, so that jsut means, he doesnt like it…

about the stinky pee, well, he is neutered,. he just got neutered last month…
but…….his pee is not as bad as before he got fixed….(talking bout the odor)
do you think his pee smell depends on what he eats???

and for that thing you said that maybe he is competing with other animals<
well i t hink that might be true.
because u have 4 other critter animals around him,
              2 guinea pigs and 2 hamsters…
do you think he is jealous???
              what should i do????

Binky has given me some great input on bunny territory/marking, etc.  Jess lives w/ 4 kitties.

Apparently their whole social order doesn’t make half as much sense as it should.  Peeing/pooping may show territory but it could also show commarodity (sp?).  My cats are really not interested in any animal that pees in their bed.  We’ve tried to explain it to the cats…but they just don’t care.
