What’s the best green to start a bunny on? My new girl has possibly never had any greens and I want the best one to get her belly used to it. I have some romaine and parsley in my fridge right now, how do those sound?

parsley is a great first veggie and romaine is often a popular choice too let’s hope she give it two paws up. you’ll want to introduce them one at a time to ensure there’s no tummy upset.

I totally agree. Romaine and parsley are easy on the tum and parsley is high in Vitamn A which they need daily. Edson loves both Italian and curley parsley.  Good luck!  Then you might add a little mint.  Another easy one.

my bunny goes crazy over romaine!!! its her number one choice over cauliflower, peppers (doesn’t even bother w/ them), carrots, and broccoli! (unfortuately, broccoli gives her diareah though!) Plus its super cute to hear the munch munch munch of romaine!

i agree about the parsley & romaine.  if your girl got any greens at all before it was likely romaine.  plus baby bun – who snubbed all other veg when i first tryed to feed them to her – started immediately munching romaine.  good luck!

Cukes and celery do not have much nutrition. You should stick with the darker lettuces like romaine and baby greens, chard and things like parsley that are high in Vitamin A.
