Good news! This weekend BOTH of my somebunny to love fosters have adoption dates! Raymond has a play date with a potential girlfriend & Mayberry has a date with a nice person who wants a bunny that can freely roam her house Send good bunny wishes for these dates…I’m hoping for at least ONE to work out!

Mayberry was adopted!! And she has gotten a fantastic owner who is eager to spoil her I guess after 5 years of being up for adoption she had it coming!  Raymond’s date did not go so well unfortunately…poor guy is soooo cute tho I’m thinking about trying to add him with my pair.

Unfortunately, the progress is a little dampened by the fact that one of our senior buns who has been a shelter bun is whole life has gotten quite sick…its possibly head tilt…and I think the fact that he has never had a home is going to make it likely that he will just give up…I don’t think he’s even ever gotten to do a binky… Poor litte senior Grayson

                  Yay for getting Mayberry adopted!

Boo to Grayson being sick.  Is there a vet at the shelter who can care for him?

The shelter is soo small we don’t even have a staff really other than the lady who cleans the cages and feeds the animals, and the owner. The owner fortunately is able to take Grayson to work with her, he needs meds administered every 4 hours as well as needs to be syringe fed, and he can’t have any food around, apparently his disorientation led him to run smack into some hay and poke his eye. Its so sad, I just really wish he had some home where he could rest and sleep, the shelter owner has dogs at her house and poor Grayson is scared of them.

                      Yippee for Mayberry!!

So sorry to hear about Grayson.   Head tilt is so hard to watch!!   Hopefully it’s due to an inner ear infection which can usually be treated and not due to ecuniculi.  Though depending on how senior he is, I know immune systems can weaker and so any illness can sometimes be harder.

I’ll send healing "upright" vibes his way.   Keep us updated!
