I took Medusa to the vet today. In the waiting room there was this NASTY dog, looked like he was badly infected with scabies or something like that. There were huge protuding sores ALL over him. I don’t know how anyone could let their pet get that bad before taking them to the vet. Anyways, as we all know I get paranoid about Medusa getting stuff. I hope scabies or anything else he had can’t travel through the air and get her infected….GROSS….

mites can jump within close range and scabies through contact.. im sure you kept your bun well away from the nasty dog and she is fine : ) .. my vet visits were nothing that bad!! just people finding out their pets had cancer : (. or others getting spayed neutered.

I’ve never had a vet appt. like that. yuck! Normally, I am taken right into to an exam room because she’s a bunny. My vet has three seprate examination room areas down three seperate hallways. Once for dogs, one for cats, and one for exotics. Then, each exam room has two doors, one to the main hall for patient use and one to a back hall that is addional treating areas and lead to the other areas. Pretty cool, state of the art setup. So, because of this, the only time we see other animals is checking in and checking out. No mangy dogs for me!

the dog did come kind of close to me, which i thought was VERY rude of their owners to let it roam around. GROSS! if medusa gets it i’m going to call the office and give them a piece of my mind
