We have several bunnies in foster care at The Rabbit Haven that have forever homes waiting for them in the upstate region of New York State.  If you are travelling from the San Francisco Bay Area to New York State and can carry an animal in cabin with you, please let us know!

I am in Syracuse in Upstate New York. Let me know if you need any help once the little lovies get over here my way. More than happy to help get them to their new loving homes!

Osprey- what if I wanted you to transport a bunny my way to Syracuse with the rest of them being transported? Would that be possible? I have done some rescuing of my own, but I must say that I am ging to be “one of those people” in that I know that I want a holland lop or a mini lop this time. I know, I know… but I can’t help it. That’s the kind I want!!!!

As far as I know, we only do in cabin transport.  Most airlines only allow one animal per flight, so you cannot really include bunnies together in the same shipment.  If you were to ship a bun as cargo, then I assume you can do multiple at once.

Hi Osprey. my daughter is flying back from Sacramento to Rochester, NY this sunday, Jan 14. She’s in college in Alfred NY. Not sure whether her flight allows for bunnies, I know Delta does, but she’s flying United this time. Also, maybe this is a bit short notice? She does have experience with rabbits, we have 2 ourselves, and she volunteered at the local shelter last year.

I am not sure where the buns need to go, but we could sure use the help! Please contact our Director, Heather Bechtel at 831-239-7119, she might be able to arrange ground transport on either end. The bunnies send their thanks!

I feel ridiculous transporting in a bunny, especially when I know rabbits everywhere need a home. Just remembered this post from earlier and thought “hmm….”
