        Mr. Pinecone is a dwarf lionhead.  The poor guy was a classroom pet, a kid took him home for the summer, and then he got dumped.  Here is his video.

                    I got to meet Pierre this weekend and he was adorable. Very friendly and loved to be cuddled. Rabbit Haven does such a great job of socializing buns.

                    Of course the 9 baby buns they had there made me want to walk away with them all stuffed under my coat.

                            we dont have pets in classrooms here in england – and just for that reason! although i like to think that if i did teach a class which had a pet i would take good care of him even out of class hours and certainly wouldnt dump him on a kid.. animals in classrooms should be dumped there is no need.. people go on class trips to zoos and petting centres and stuff plenty of places to learn about animals without having one in the class
