Being the covered litterbox advocate that I am, I was very excited about the newest product from the Van Ness Litterbox Line: the Sifting Enclosed Litterbox! Medusa used the regular XL enclosed litterbox, however I was having problems with her ripping up the newspaper on the bottom, moving it, and then peeing on the plastic with nothing to absorb it.

I was slightly disappointed by the box. The sifter stopped her from getting at the newspaper, but it was actually harder to clean because instead of just dumping all the contents out, I had to push out the poopies that got wedged into the sifter The other downside is, the sifter box does not come in the XL size like the regular one.

Oh well, I guess if it keeps her box cleaner/dryer, its worth the extra cleaning.
