  Pancake has been poorly with gut stasis! He hadn’t been eating much recently, just picking at his food so I took him to the vets.
  
  They kept him in overnight and gave him injections and fibre paste on a regular basis. I have nerver been so upset as when I left him at the vets! He was giving me cuddles before I left almost saying "Mummy don’t leave me!!".
  
  Thankfully he is home now and seems happy, Still giving him the paste but is eating and going to the loo OK.
  
  He is inside at the moment as he got cold and damp outside causing him to get ill and gumpy. My partner wants him to go back outside but, the winter is going to be so cold and I can’t stand the idea of him out in that hutch!
  
  Think we might find somewhere else to live lol!

  I do hope you stand your ground and keep Pancake inside where you can monitor him.
  
  Make sure you are giving him plenty of wet fresh greens and unlimited hay. Might take away the pellets too. Lots of exercise and tummy massages too.

  Hope your bunny is doing better. My bun just had a bad bit of GI yesterday and worried the pants off me. Isn’t it the worse thing ever to have to leave a pet at the vet? It’s so sad..they don’t know it’s for their own good!

  I am glad pancake is home with you now. I am so sorry this is all happening, and I hope he gets back to normal soon. It is definitely best to keep him inside – especially when he’s healing. Why did he get damp outside? Do you have some sort of covering that can prevent that? What are you partner’s concerns about having your bunny inside? Maybe we can help you help your partner accept having a bunny inside. This is not unusual and we helped people with their roommates, partners, parents, wives, husbands so talk to your partner and ask him/her what the top concerns are. Then if you don’t know the answer, then bring the questions here, and we’ll be all over it to help find solutions.

  I am really glad to hear he’s back home with you now, both eating and pooping ok. That’s a relief.
  
  I’d second binky’s recommendation about getting to the heart of why your partner wants Pancake outside. I hope you’re able to find a solution that works for all three of you.
