  Hi and thanks in advance for any responses, I have a bit of interesting case that I’ve been thinking on for a while. I’ve had my female (spayed) bun, Momo, for almost four years; I decided last year to to adopt another bun to bond her with. We got Bosco, a male neutered bun, in January 2018 and the bonding process was pretty long, clocking in around 8 months. Getting to my actual question, when we first got Bosco he was about a year old and he was extremely sociable and kind — he’d run up to you & sniff new people. He was so different from Momo, who was borderline reclusive, she’s always been shy but she also had an eye removal which made her more careful of people & her surroundings. After they bonded, it seems like Momo has come out of her shell and is now the outgoing bun, while Bosco has drawn himself in a bit more.
  
  I was curious if this is typical, or if we did something to cause Bosco to become more introverted? I feel like the amount of time that I’ve had Momo compared to Bosco may play a part in her becoming more comfortable around us, but I’m stuck as far as Bosco’s situation goes.

  It sounds pretty normal to me. A lot of times bonded buns tend to enjoy the company of each other and don’t interact as much with the hooms. But I’ve heard of shy buns coming around and being more outgoing.
