Hello all! Oreo uses one of those large corner litter boxes that has the raised wire floor that you lift off for cleaning. There's a small part of the wire that is starting to rust. I've had no luck finding a replacement floor online and was wondering if there's a way to remove the rust. And is there something safe that I can spray or paint over the area once the rust is removed? Or is it just best to buy a new litter box and floor? Thanks!

I just use a cat box with bedding and hey in it so I am probably not much help. I know Coke and a wire brush will clean rust off of a grill or car battery so it might work on the floor for your litter box. As far as something safe to coat it with I have no ideas sorry.

Wire is bad for buns feet, it causes sore hocks and infection if it rusts. I suggest a cat litter box and buy a plastic mesh sheet from Joann’s to put over the litter
