It’s like a long grumbling moaning noise but doesn’t sound like the grunting or growling I found on youtube. He started to run back and forth fast while doing this at the end of the day and I can’t tell why. He’s getting neutered this week.
When he does it my other rabbit (who is in view of but not yet in the same space) gets hyper and trys to follow him?
Is he just happy, or h*rny or something? He runs up to me to get my attention but runs away as soon as I try to stroke him then repeats this?
Does anyone elses bun do this? It’s v cute I’m just concerned.

My rabbit does something similar to this. He will run up to me and do this honking noise. He does it when I have food or just when he wants to say hi. It means that he is happy to see me. Honking is very common in unneutered males too. It can mean that they want to mate and can be accompanied by circling your feet. However in my case the honking continued even after he was neutered so I know that it just means he is happy.

              Sounds like honking to me.

It sounds lower than honking tho? More of a rumble if that makes sense?

My bun makes a weird noise that’s a mix of honking and buzzing. He can come running through the room while making that noise. I dont know what it means but he seems happy when he does it. It could mean “Give me treats, hoom!”

                    Thanks everyone I’ve decided it’s probably a happy/excited noise
