This past week Ive been hearing a lot of weird gurgling sounds coming from my rabbit that can be easily heard across the room especially after she eats her greens. She seems to be eating, pooping, and running around just fine. As for her tummy….. it feels a bit bigger towards the back? Idk its kinda hard to tell for sure because she’s extremely fluffy so I could be mistaken, but currently its squishy to touch but yet firm. Lately Ive been paranoid thinking it might be GI stasis and made sure to her give some baby infant release drops as well as Critical care. Side note, I have not introduced anything new to her diet.

If her behavior changes Ill be taking her to the vet ASAP but in the meanwhile would anyone know what this might be/ experienced this?

        Thank you xx

even though she is acting fine now I would still take her to the vet ASAP. bunny gastric problems can kill them over night even if they seem ok.
please take her to the vet.

It is her intestines moving that you hear. That’s not a bad thing, intestines should move, but a rumbling sounds means they’re overdoing it a bit. It’s actually the opposite of GI stasis, GI stasis means the intestines are not moving at all.

I’d give the baby gas drops, try to make her move around, maybe a give a very light tummy massage as in this Mary S. Cotter video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnuxGLa2reg

If she stops eating and/or pooping, take her to the vet.

Do you give her any cruciferous greens? Kale, broccoli, cabbage, and related greens can cause gas. Also, oats; possibly even from oat hay although it would be a bit hard for a rabbit to pick out that many seed heads.
