  I have a free roam female rabbit and a male rabbit that is not free roam but is in a cage. If I were to put the males cage inside a entirely new room and the female who would be free roaming inside the same room, would the female still feel threatened by his presence. Or try to castrate him like if you were to bring the male into the females cage for breeding. The male would not be free roaming with her his cage would just be in there. I want to make sure it’s safe first. The female is neutered but the male is not. They would both be introduced to a new room.

  I’m going to move this thread to the bonding section, as I think it fits better there. the technical section is more for website-related problems.
  
  That said, I just have a couple questions to clarify what you would like help with. Is your intention to try to bond the rabbits and have them live happily together?
  
  If that’s the case, then I recommend you get the male neutered first. It’s more challenging to bond un-neutered rabbits as their hormones can make both bunnies very territorial. Then you can work on bonding them in neutral territory.
  
  If your goal is to just have them share the room, but not be bonded, you can have them live side by side, but you’ll want to make sure they cannot nip each other through the cage, or through fencing. You can do this by using a fine grid mesh, or make a buffer between the cages so they can’t nip. Be very sure they cannot access each other, because if one gets into the other rabbit’s area, it’s very likely they will fight.

  I agree, you should definitely get the male neutered if you want to eventually bond them. He won’t give her a moment’s peace from chasing and mounting if he isn’t.
  Living in the same room, but separated, is ok if he isn’t neutered. I have boys and girls living in hutches only a few inches apart with no issue.
