  Hatter was almost 10years old. Over the last year or so he battled a sore on his leg that turned out to be cancer. We did what we could for him while trying to also minimise his suffering. Over the last few months it grew quickly and spread. Over the last week he lost a lot of weight and you could see he was in pain. He died less than an hour ago. I keep crying and Scout is very sad, but I’m glad he’s not hurting anymore. It will be very hard to get used to him not being here. We’re going to try take him to be cremated tomorrow.

  Thank you. I started crying at work a couple times today, but pulled it together quickly. Luckily I work with nice people. Anyway I appreciate that there are people who’ve loved a bunny as much as I loved The Mad Hatter. I’m sure people think I’m a little weird. I’m getting a paw print back with his ashes in a few weeks. Of course I’m gonna always remember him.

  Very sad but 10 years is wonderful age, my Jasper died a year ago fro cancer, I still cry now, don’t feel weird at all, bunnies mean the world to us. Rip x
