  The smaller less dominant rabbit (Tex) tore her nail off. It was bleeding a lot and I took her to the vet to get the wound looked at. They wrapped her foot and told me to keep it wrapped for 3-5 days. They also sent her home with a cone of shame to prevent chewing on the bandages. She only wears the cone at night when I can’t watch her. Things were fine when I brought her home (Saturday night) but the dominant bunny (Moya) started aggressively chasing Tex last night and this morning. Currently I have them separated with Tex being in my bedroom and Moya having the rest of the house. Should I wait to reintroduce them until Tex’s bandages come off?

  So stressful. I think it’s best to wait to re-bond until Tex is all healed up. This happens sometimes, either with vet visits, injuries, or both. Sirius & Luna had this happen with her trio, but was able to rebond them pretty quickly once the sick bunny was feeling 100% better. I think after about 2 weeks of bonding sessions they all the sudden clicked back into being bonded.
