  A bittersweet post. We had to say goodbye to Gimly on December 27th. It was weird not having a bunny so we decided it was time to open our home and hearts to a new fuzzer. Introducing Bonton!!! Bonton is an American fuzzy lop who’s never had a home. He’s at best estimate 2-3 years old or younger. He was rescued from a hoarding/breeding situation and lived outside in a cage. He was then transferred to a couple shelters before he came the one we volunteer at. Bonton had been there since September with no prospects of a forever home. It felt like he was waiting for us. Gimly told us it was ok to have him because he wanted to see other buns loved and cared for like he was. He loves to explore and give kisses, but is very cage defensive. We are hopeful that will subside as he learns he will get all the play time and love☺️He just came home with us yesterday. Gotcha Bonton! ❤️?

  He is absolutely adorable! I am so sorry about Gimly but also happy to see you were able to open your heart and home to another special bun who needed you.
  
  I also have trouble with pictures coming in sideways. I use the photo file on windows to save them and it happens all the time. I’m not sure if your issue is the same but I have discovered that if I rotate the photo, close it, and then go back and rotate it back the right way again before I try and download it they come up right.

  It’s wonderful that you adopted Bonton and you are giving him a real home, filled with love and care.
  
  Several years ago, I adopted a 2 year old American Fuzzy Lop that unfortunately had a lot of mats in his fur. If Bonton has mats, hopefully they are not too severe and you can get them out fairly easily and quickly. Long haired rabbits do need daily brushing to prevent mats.

  hes a pretty cool dude with an attitude lol. hopefully he will break some of his cage defensiveness over time, but he loves pets and has already done some zoomies and binkies for us!

  Awww… I always miss so much during the periods when BB won’t load for me…
  
  I’m still aching about Gimly’s loss, but am delighted for you guys and Bunton. He sounds like a bun full of sauce, and having and loving one of those, I can’t help but approve. (I, too, adopted Chewie from the shelter I volunteered at.)

  So sorry to hear of your loss of Gimley so hard when a much loved bunny goes over the rainbow bridge.
