Hello everyone, My bunny and I are glad to be here.

Her name is Dixie and she is a Holland Lop.

I got her Dec 2017 at 8 weeks old, she is the smartest animal I have ever met she is a free roaming house bunny and does not destroy anything.

I can’t seem to post a pic of her, they are under 500kb but my album shows 0 pics. any tips on pic posting?

You have to upload pics to the album separately if you don’t have them there already. To upload directly to a topic, you have to get them from your computer.
Wow! How did you train her not to destroy stuff?

I created a album and uploaded per instructions but still shows 0 pics.
when I first brought her home I would snap my fingers and tell her NO NO when she started to bite on a electrical chord, as for chewing on carpet I would lay on the floor with her and tap her nose with my finger and said NO she would smack my hand with her front paw but she got the message. I also keep empty rolls of toilet paper on the floor for her to chew on and I have hay stations in every room she goes in. I also have small sticks and other toys to keep her mind off of the items she is not to chew on. she is the first bunny I have ever had and is very smart. she might also behave so good because I am retired and am with her almost all day. she sleeps on a blanket on top of my nightstand when I go to bed at night (silly bunny), she let me know that it’s her bed by hopping up on it one night and pushing everything on it onto the floor. her cage is open 24/7 even when I’m not home and she is a good little girl and doesn’t do anything bad, she only goes in her cage to eat as thats the only place she will eat, her litter box is not in her cage, I have it next to it.

              Welcime!
              You little girl sounds delightful

Looking forward to seeing her picture.

There are some instructions how to upload pictures here: https://binkybunny.com/FORUM/tabid/54/aft/144934/afnp/550847/Default.aspx

If you are on a mobile device (phone, tablet) I’m afraid it’s tricker. The site will be updated to be more mobile-friendly, so fingers crossed it will make sharing photos easier.

At the moment, it sounds as if the file size is an issue for you?
Is the photo on a phone or tablet?

the photos were downloaded to my computer from my phone, the file sizes are to big to add to my post but a few photos meet the requirements for the photo album, it lets me upload them but when I look in the album it’s empty. I uploaded some to the member photo section but it say’s they only check the new pics every couple weeks so it might be some time before they show up.
thank you for helping and the link you provided.

I just looked and saw you have the album “Dixie” So when you upload a photo, I think there is a step where you select album where you want it to go. So even with just one album, you’d still need to check the box for that album.

For resizing photos on my computer, I just open them in Paint and save under a new file name. That way I still have a copy of the better quality original.
There are some other programs you can download to resize photos but I just find that the easiest.

I only get 3 steps to add photos to the album, first step is choose file, 2nd step is upload, 3rd step is save photos. then the album is still empty. I found a thread where a few others have the same issue but there is no solution from them.

Im not certain if you created an album first, or the name Dixie is showing because the 1st photo was named that?

Anyway, 1st step is create an album, then upload photos to that. Ive saved this screenshot showing the step where you select album name for each photo.

p.s. even though my own profile shows this, I don’t actually have any photos visible there now.

I don’t get the option you are showing, I only get the yellow box and below that I get a blue box that say’s save photos, when I click that the screen dims for a few seconds then brightens back up and thats it.

Edit: I got one pic to to save in my album. the file type was not allowed as it was sent to my phone from my wifes phone, so I saved it in paint under a different name so now I get the option that you posted. now all the pics taken with my phone are too large of a file.

Edit: I have a few more in my album if you would like to take a look.

Adorable !!! Id be happy to add those to your post here, if you like. As one of the admins, I can add it into your post. Edit to add: Actually, if you are on a computer, you can easily do that yourself. Just copy image from album and paste in a post.  Or, if you have suitable size file now saved on computer, you can add it as an attachment to your post. For either option, use the AddReply option, not the “quick reply” box.

now all the pics taken with my phone are too large of a file.

They generally are a large file. I take screenshots(on my phone) of the photos in my camera roll. This saves a smaller file version. I often email myself photos so I can have them on the laptop and edit further.

Thank you for your help. I have been thinking about ways to downsize the file size of the pics. I have a large DSLR camera that lets me set how large I want the file on a pic, it’s a Canon professional camera, maybe I’ll use it to take pics of her. the DSLR is so big to lug around though and she’s always busy and on the move.

Edit: and that would fine if you want to post some of my pics.
