I have had this bun in my house for a few months now.  Really wanted to let her just enjoy the whole house as she pleases.  But she wouldn’t stop coming on my couch!  It was such a problem I was having to keep her to only one half of the house.  Don’t really know what happened but suddenly she has just stopped getting on the couch.  She’s out right now enjoying the whole house.  I think she’s a lot happier   even though she still just kind of sits beside the couch and has me pet her for a really long time   but she’s happier being in the room with me

Any particular reason you don’t want her on the couch? If you’re worried about the fabric, a lot of people just throw a blanket over it.
