Do I need to be concerned with the bar spacing when using a dog crate as a cage or are most of them typically ok?

Any other tips also welcomed, looking to purchase later this afternoon. Thanks!

Depends on the crate. The spacing should be no more than 3-3inches apart since they can get their heads stuck in the middle of it.
