Hello, just curious if there are other bun owners that do not allow their rabbit to have any blankets?

Dharma does not have blankets because when we were trying to litter train her she would pee on the blankets.

Also, she has always chewed on blankets.

Bummer, because she really loves arranging blankets, snuggling in and patting them.

Is Dharma spayed? That cuts down marking pees dramatically.

But even so, many buns love to toilet on a soft and comfortable surface. Enter blanket peeing. lol

As for chewing… It’s a natural behavior, and some buns love fabrics, while others go for cardboard or wood or iphone cables.

Your bunny sounds perfectly well adjusted to me.

My Bertha is the same. She loves chewing, snuggling, digging, and peeing on blankets, so, she doesn’t get to have blankets. If I stretch them tight and clip them down she is better about it though.

Dharma ingests the blanket fibers so no blankets for her 🙁

She is not spayed – I rescued her as a senior rabbit. I may get her to a specialist and see if they still think there would be a benefit. Besides blankets, she is reliably litter trained.
