Bella was recently ill and taken to the vets where they prescribed her some deworming medication (Panacur) and said to make sure she takes it daily for three days. I have administered the medication and was now wondering what to do? Do I wait for her to poop the worms out? Do they just die inside of her? I know I sound clueless because I really am! This is my first bunny and I wanted to get some advice from people who have first hand experience. Please help

Do you know what she was sick with? Was it pinworms or another kind of worm or parasite?

Honestly I have no idea! My dad was the one who took her as I wasn’t home when she was ill. I’ve sent him a text to ask. Does it make a difference with what type it is?

If she has something like pinworms you really need to disinfect her entire cage so that she doesn’t reinfect herself with it, and definitely watch out for her eating her cecals because that’s another way she could get reinfected.

              Here’s a good article on pinworms https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/pinworms-in-rabbits
