I have 3 buns, they are well bonded together and are not aggresive or too scared.
I have had them for a out 4 months, they have free roam in a big room all for themselves
With a cage opened with food and water, a hiding place and some toys and towels.
Every morning i feed them pellets, they already know that first things in the morning they are
Getting food and they run near their bowl. Once i put food in their bowl they will let me pet them,
But Once they are done i cant get near them. They run away from me and wont let me touch them…
If i lay on the floor they will sniff and lick me, an play with my clothes.
Any idea or help will Be good..

My first bunny it took 9 months before she’d let me pet her, and then it was only when she was in her litter box. After a month my new bunny follows me around and licks my toes and I almost trip over him and he likes being pet. I think it really depends on the bunny and some take more time than others – and some seem to never like to be pet. Letting them approach you sounds like a good way to make them comfortable with you and the fact that they are interested is a good sign. I think letting them set the terms of your interactions is really the way to go. If you pursue them when they are not interested in interacting it may just stress them out.

I think it really depends on the rabbit but when I first brought Bella home she was very shy so instead of trying to handle her, I sat down next to her hutch and let her come to me. I’ve bonded with many rabbits in the past and this always tends to do the trick unless they are really skittish. Bella bonded with me really fast after I started doing this, but other rabbits might take a little longer. Just be patient and sit with them and let them come to you, not the other way around. Good luck!
