  Just now I was cleaning my room and I looked over at Charlie and she’s doing something weird…
  
  She’s plucking her fur!
  
  I have no idea why! She cant be pregnant. Olaf is neutered and has been for months! I’ve never introduced them either!
  
  I dont know what to do and she’s getting fur on my bed…..
  
  Can someone help me?

  It sounds like she might be having what is called a “false” pregnancy / pseudopregnancy.

  Is she pulling fur from areas like she did back when she had her babies?
  Is she buidling a nest at all. They can do this toward the end of a false pregnancy, the same way the would with a real one.

  She was plucking her fur from her dewlap and alone her side. So pretty much like she did with her previous litters.
  
  She did actually pull a handful of fur and put it in my pillowcase.
  
  And olaf was neutered way back in February.
  
  I do think it’s a false pregnancy but I wasn’t sure at first since she hasn’t been with olaf.

  Most commonly, these do happen ovulation is induced from being mounted – but they can occur without that happening. Sometimes it’s triggered by stress, or by some biological changes happening in a Doe. It might last around 3-4 days. They’ll lose interest in their nest and normally an owner can clear it away by that point. .
