I gave Luigi a large red grape as a treat this evening. Unfortunately I’ve gotten so used to eating seedless grapes and seeing prepackaged grapes labelled as “seedless”, I completely forgot that my loose grapes might have seeds – and they did. After he’d finished the grape, I noticed 4 seeds on his plate. Either he didn’t ingest them or he had but then spat them out afterwards. I don’t know how many seeds were in that one grape, or whether he ate any seeds. He may or may not have. If he did, would a seed or two be toxic/harmful? Every guide I read says to remove the seeds. I’d just forgotten to check my grapes. Has anyone ever had a bun that ate grape seeds (accidentally or otherwise)?

I haven’t ever heard they are or are not toxic, but I haven’t checked as I haven’t ever got seeded ones. How is he acting?

As far as I know, grape seeds do not contain cyanide like apple seeds and cherry pits. Can’t find any info on whether they are harmful to rabbits but I very much doubt such a small amount would be harmful.
