  As some of you guys know, we lost mylo two weeks ago. the time we spent with him was way to short, but I remember every minute of it. the good and the bad. and he will forever be in our hearts.
  
  because everyone was so excited to have a new family member, we were devastated when mylo left us. we decided as a family to get a new baby bun to fill the emptiness a bit. Meet Bentley!!! he is a VM blue holland lop and he is sooooo energetic!! his favorite thing to do is explore behind and under the couch (which is now blocked lol). he super curious and outgoing and he must come investigate when he hears a noise. he loves attention and everyone loves giving him attention. we couldn’t be happier with our new family member and can’t wait to see what other surprises he will give us!

  I’m so sorry to hear about Mylo. ? Little Bentley is super adorable! He looks like such a little explorer lol, I think he’s planning his next adventure, under the beds ?

  I’m truly sorry to hear about the passing of Mylo, Olliebun. I have no doubts he was unconditionally loved, and felt loved as well. Now another lucky bun, Bentley, has that same chance. Congratulations!
  
  Also, where did you find the food dish? I really like the pattern!

  thank you! I found it at petco when picking up some hay. it was in the small animals aisle. if you find out that the in store price is more expensive than online then you can ask for a price match and show them the online price and they should be able to change it for you! thats what I did . I love it, its not too big and not to small and the pattern is so cute!

  Welcome Bentley! What a cutie! Love the white dot on his head. I see he’s already laying the foundation to a healthy GI tract, teeth included (It looks like a strand of orchard in his mouth). That’s excellent, Bentley!

  Welcome Bentley! And heartbroken over Milo. He was absolutely the cutest little thing. I’ll always remember him in his picture looking like he is coming in for a landing.
  
  I saw the white dot too and couldn’t tell if it was a sunbeam hitting his head or actually his fur. Cheers! Bentley!

  thank you everyone! he loves hay which is awesome! its thundering tonight and I’m worried he’ll be scared. how do your buns do with thunder and lightning?

  Make sure he has some nice and cosy places to hide. Cardboard boxes are great and you could line it with fleece.

  Icey was okay with it. Unless of course the lightning struck somewhere very close. But then that causes the power to go out and the sudden explosive sound coinciding with the flash has already scared us as well. Those close instances she would run for cover in a box or under the bed and was fine hiding in there until she felt safe to come out again. But the usual or standard lightning and thunder was no big deal for her.

  I’ve had buns for over 15 year and they were all okay with it, except my current bun, Elara. Like other’s said, make sure he has a safe place to hide. Since he loves attention, petting and talking gently to him may comfort him.

  we got through our first mini thunder storm! he was scared at first but after a while he didn’t seem to mind. he was willing to come out and play for a bit before bedtime. thank you for all the advice!!
