  Here’s an old pic of me and my lady. Love her to death, she’s about 5 and a half years old and I adopted her from the shelter 3 years ago, she’s traveled with me across the country and is the sweetest most feisty rabbit to grace humanity with her presence. Came here hoping to find more ways to spoil her and treat her right since she spends a lot of time home alone (she’s a free roam rabbit not caged) since I got a new job. If you guys have any advice feel free to throw it my way.

  Hey welcome. That’s a great picture. Looks like she is dressed up proper, wearing a vest. Matching your boots. Hopefully someone can give you advice with more detail about keeping her as entertained and fulfilled as possible while you are away. Jobs are indeed a part of life but do get in the way. I would definitely give her as much love and attention as you can when you are home. I know I couldn’t resist. I do like that picture.

  Rabbits often sleep during the day as you know, so their need for company during the day is limited. If you can get apple twigs that are pesticide free, that could offer her some enrichment when you are not there. I know my Bam was very fond of gnawing the bark off of apple twigs.
