        Hey all.

As I prepare for Cinder’s end, I’ve been thinking about a Memoriam piece to keep a physical memory, not just the ones in my heart and mind. What have you guys done for your fur babies? I hate to be thinking about this, but better that I start now and be ready. Her time can be any day, no time frame was given on when the Cancer takes her. Thanks.

Im so sorry that you have to think about this. It’s good you’re being strong and tackling it.

          Some Ideas I had were:
          Write a poem
          Make a memorial site
          Make a website tribute
          Urns
          Plaques
Or planting a tree in their memory

So sorry you have to be thinking about this as well The unfortunate part about having pets.

My vet did pawprints & a cute little rainbow bridge poem for mine. I have yet to put their photos in them because I really like the poem with it, I don’t know how to keep both in there. I would like to put their names under the pawprints, I just have terrible penmanship & don’t want to mess it up!

Also, I had the vet shave off some fur to put in a bag or container to keep. So, I have fur from both my bunnies.

I’ve always planted something in memory of pets. I like to have a picture somewhere but not really more than that as I don’t really like the sad reminder, but it’s nice to see their picture

Mimzy, have you considered getting some small name plates done? On a small piece of metal you could have their names engraved and then stick the plate onto the bottom of the frame below the paw prints That way you wouldn’t have to worry about messing it up if you wrote it on their paw cast.

Plants are wonderful. A small part of fur, or if you’re cremating, taking some of it and putting it in a small, jewelry-sized container and you can do a necklace or chain.

With my previous two rabbits I ordered these personalised engraved pebbles with the name on one side and dated on the other and put them under a flower planted for them in my garden. They’re very sweet and tasteful little tributes that stay in very good condition for a long time. <3

Hard as is for me to deal with, I went out the other day and bought a blueberry bush to plant on Clover’s grave.  Blueberries were her favorite.

Seemed the right thing to do.
