  I will soon be getting a mini rex! Yay! I’m so excited! You’d probably know this if you read my other posts I’ve done intensive research, and I know that rex bunnies need soft flooring, because they are more prone to getting sore hox. However, I will be keeping my bunny in my un-carpeted room and I’d like to let her roam around for part of the day. I do not want to cover my whole floor with blankets though. What do I do?

  I think covering the floor with blankets is your only option. You might be able to get away with putting a sock on your bunnies feet and holes for the nails but that probably won’t work.

  Blankets are probably the best choice, as H&T said. Your bunny most likely won’t be comfortable in socks lol

  Is there any reason why you don’t want to cover your floors with blankets?
  
  You could also put puzzle foam mats down and then throw some soft area rugs or blankets around.
