I made a thread in the lounge about getting another rabbit. I haven’t had a rabbit in a bit and wasn’t planning to for a long long while. But miss Joey just latched herself to my heart and I NEEDED her! Lol.

I took her for a quick vet visit after signing her adoption papers. Mom seems to be a full bred Champagne D’Argent and the vet *thinks* she is a Champagne/Chinchilla or possibly a Champagne/Giant Chinchilla mix because even at 11 weeks old she is massive (already 5.4lbs!). Doesn’t matter to me.

She is super chill. You can pick her up flip her over and do whatever you want to her and she will just lay there.

Here’s a couple of pics of her I took after we got home. She is temporarily in a plastic bin “cage” since the dog I am dog sitting decided her crate was the perfect place to pee.

I can’t even describe how big her ears are! They are massive! I measured one last night for fun and it is 11.5 inches long! That’s only an inch shorter than Moonshine’s ears were and he was an adult English Lop!

She is settling in amazingly and is already showing my youngest cat that she now runs the house. I am shocked my cat didn’t become a hissing growling mess because she generally hates other animals that are introduced. But she literally just purrs and rubs on her through the cage bars like she is just another cat. She isn’t too sure about my dogs just yet so I am keeping them a little separated until she is fully settled in.

I forgot just how much bunnies poop. So much poop. I let her run around my bedroom last night and had to sweep twice!

She is so gorgeous, congrats on the new addition I can’t help but wonder if she’ll still be that calm once the hormones kick in

I love big buns as well! I had all small buns until I met my first English Lop and it was all over from there!

No hormones for her! NUH UH! She is getting spayed next week. HA!
