Inspired by Bleu, who took it upon himself to hop into my bowl of chili with his white paws, not once, but TWICE. Many foot washes followed to prevent him from running off with chili stains.

Guinness’ was probably when she was trying to escape the play area, before we got a proper folding gate to block her path. After she hopped the first barrier, we put a small open trashcan up to block the gap. Guinness promptly tried jumping the trash too….and ended up falling straight in. Likewise, there was another gap we stuff a pillow into, which was between a table and chair. Her response was to try and jump through, before promptly getting her butt stuck, forcing her to put up the indignation of being rescued.

My previous bunny Pikkie once wanted to flee from the top of her hutch we put her on (I think we were going to check her our or something), she jumped straight on top of a little bush and fell in there.

Muffin once climbed into the little furniture piece the tv is on, but the space she crawled into was very narrow and she got hopelessly stuck and had to be pulled out by me.

Monster and Muffin both thought it was a good idea to jump into a tiny box (they’d just be able to fit inside of it) that was standing up right like a bukcket. I think they thought they could stand on top of it.They proceeded to fall inside and I could see them going “Well $*&! me” internally. :’)

This is actually something I wrote on here in 2009! Ive taken the lazy option and am copy/pasting it. Jersey was my 1st rabbit. She has been gone for over 4 years now – hard to believe. Anyway, Im sure she wouldn’t have viewed this as a mistake. lol

I almost forgot about this believe it or not. A few weeks before Christmas, I went away for 3 days or so. I had arranged for one of my sisters who lives nearby to come in and tend Jersey in my absence. During this time, my mother and another sister were travelling to town a few times for various appointments. They let themselves into my place for a lunchstop and breather etc.

Apparently whilst the fridge door was open, a curious rabbit hopped in to investigate. This was unknown to them until Mum opened the door later to find her sitting there, right as rain! She said she even had to prompt her to get out. Neither of them knew how long she may have been in there! I can only laugh now as I know it didn’t have any ill effects on Jersey. I’m sure it mustn’t have been too long – I hope!!!!

Sirius once jumped into the toilet…

I heard a frantic scrabbling and rushed around trying to find him. And there he was, sitting with his whole butt in the toilet water.

I fished him out and wrapped him up in a towel. Offered him a carrot and he happily ate it as I blowdried him on a low setting. He didn’t seem at all perturbed by the experience. Now I’m very paranoid about making sure the toilet lid and bathroom door are closed.

Less dramatically, Atlas once jumped into the empty bath and got stuck in there.

There’s only one I can think of, but I’m sure theres more I’m forgetting.

The first time we let our bonded pair free roam our downstairs area, we had our patio door open. The screen was shut, and we didn’t think much of it.

We were gathering them up to put them back in our kitchen for the night, where they free roamed before, and couldn’t find Benson. We looked everywhere, and then I think “what if he got out??” And as soon as I say that to my sister, I look over at the screen door and see Benson looking inside.

We were panicking. He just started licking his lips, ears standing up, sitting at the door as if he was waiting to be let back in. We couldn’t figure out what happened, until he poked his head through a hole he chewed at the bottom of the screen door. It was night time, so we didn’t see it at first.

Needless to say, we made sure to not open the patio door when he was around. I wish I got a picture, it was so funny but also scary lol.

Hahaha, oh man your bunnies are silly ^_^ The toilet, what on earth was he thinking? And the fridge, ROFL! I have to show this thread to Bas, he’ll love it!

Breintje once made a really crazy move when we were on the train. He was perching on my arm when I saw that he had a big piece of goop in his eye. I tried to get it out with the tip of a tissue, but he wasn’t having it! He jumped off of my arm and fell straight into the V-shaped wedge between the seats. All that was sticking out was his fuzzy tail and two huge feet.

S&L my Julep jumped into the toilet too!! So glad I’m not the only one who has had to fish their rabbit out of the toilet! She recently was on the arm of the couch trying to stretch and reach the table next to the couch when her front feet started slowly sliding and she ended up falling between the table and the side of the sofa! She looked so indignant! She also has tried to get between two overstuffed chairs and had to do this hysterical backwards hop and wiggle to get out! Julep always does something that makes me laugh!

                            Cutest mental image ever!

                            Aww, haha!
I watched a video yesterday of 2 wombats playing on a sofa. One of them did this slow roll right off the edge. It was so funny and adorable.

Another silly moment Id forgotten about. This is one of my bridge bunnies, Jelly, exercising on the bed. I had laid a vinyl tablecloth over the mattress to protect it from potential pee and poop. Jelly was blind (either from birth or really young age) but that didn’t stop him.

Clover likes to climb into Jarvis’ (My 7 year old rescued Quaker parrot) and play with his toys. Not sure if she’s stuck, she seems perfectly content, but it aggravates Jarvis to no end.

She also does her DBFs on the edge of the couch, falls asleep then rolls her silly self off the couch. Wakes up as she lands on her feet and give me a dirty look like it’s MY fault.

All these stories are making me laugh! Bunnies are so precious!

Just earlier today, my new bun was running around on my bed, her carrier was up there, and she went to do another zoomie but didnt account for the short space she left when she decided to binky. She ended up leaping into the air, landing front feet and head down in between her carrier, my bed, and the wall.

                                So silly.

I looked over at her, not know whether to laugh or not. She laid there for a second, probably thinking “this is my life now”, and then she popped back up as soon as i got up to help her.

I hope no one minds if I come here. I only had Blossom and Thumper for 4 weeks and they’re roughly 10-13 weeks old (closer to 13 I suspect) so there’s not too many moments like this but there is something that they (mainly Blossom) like to do. They love to toss things in their waterdish. The first time they did this was when I made a cardboard DIY toy filled with pellets. The toy was completely closed off on both ends and they nibbled and dug at it so I thought I might have fone an OK job. Well eventually I went to bed and when I got up I found their cardboard toy soaked and ruined with mushed up pellets all over. And when we first got them in their cage all that night they kept sticking their whole heads through the bars and if we didn’t stop them there’s no doubt that they would’ve wiggled their whole body out. … … Do those count? XD

Oh, this is so cute! We just recently adopted a mini lop who is still shy from moving in, but the contrast in him and Poppy really makes me see how crazy Poppy can be. Sorrel often watches her across cages like ‘… What the heck is she doing?’

I have a habit of putting her green bendy tube on top of her hidey house when I’m cleaning, and forgetting to put it back down. Of course, Poppy doesn’t care, and throws not all of it, but half of it on the ground, making a tunnel path between the top of the hidey house… and the floor. Each time she seems to forget where it leads, runs down it, and finds herself trapped between the tube and the floor before she throws it off and then tosses it around for daring to imprison her!
