I have a 10 x 8 room with a closet, 3 windows, French doors, and a sliding glass door with screen that leads to the patio.

I’d love some ideas on how to make this room rabbit proof, friendly, and protect the carpet.

I want to get get rid of our current cage and build something bigger out of wood that all my rabbits can use, but each bonded pair have their own space.

I can’t post photos for some reason so I can’t share the ones I have. .

I would look at pintrest. I’ve seen many beautiful wooden creations on habitats people make for their rabbit. If the room is bunny proofed though and your rabbits are trained they might be able to just be free roamed

I can’t speak to the woodworking aspect, but to protect the carpet, a relatively cheap option would be to get interlocking children’s tiles like these, and then cover them with a sheet/fleece. There’s an example of that setup in this video. I’d love to see pictures when you’re done with the room; it sounds amazing!

It took away but I found some with the dimensions included.
