Hi all, my two indoor bunnies live with me in my flat. They have all day access to the whole flat apart from the bedroom but they don’t tend to venture further than the lounge and kitchen. I really want to find them a bunny friendly garden where I can take them to get a few hours of outdoor exercise, even if it means purchasing a large mobile run to put up.
Is this a good idea for my buns and how can I find someone that would bunnysit them. I live in East Sussex so I’m keen to find nearby people with bunny friendly gardens.

        Many thanks
        Georgina

I’m not sure, I’m kind of paranoid about letting my bunnies out. There are some websites that discuss what to look out for (I just googled “how to let an indoor bunny outside” or something like that). You have to make sure the enclosure has a top (for predators like hawks), know that all the plants are safe for bunnies (I’m pretty sure some weeds and plants here are not), and that nothing has been sprayed on or around the plants.

I take my buns to my apartment’s dog park They LOVE it and they’re very closely supervised while they play. I put little harnesses on them with bells so I can hear them. They especially love the tunnel at that park. There are never any dogs there so they get the whole run. I think as long as you’re there playing with them and very closely supervising, it’s okay. I would never let them out in backyard alone for even a few minutes like a dog.

Does anybody have a rabbit friendly garden I could bring my buns to for say an hour or two? I’m looking to also get a foldable run/pen to keep them in a safe area. Many thanks

                Hi there,

Based on my last post I just wondered if anyone did have a rabbit friendly garden in Sussex that I could bring my two buns along to play in for a short period of time?
                Many thanks in advance
