At what age should I be switching my bun over to Timothy hay? Petunia is 15 weeks and I have been feeding alfalfa hay and grass hay but when am I supposed to take her off the alfalfa??

I would start taking her off of it now. Typically when they are 6 months old they should be on timothy only, but a lot of buns have a difficult time making the transition, so I would start as early as possible to make sure se transitions smoothly into timothy. Instead of timothy, I’d suggest starting her out on orchard because it could be more palatable for her, coming off of alfalfa. Neither of mine were ever fed alfalfa.

Okay thanks I’ve got her in orcharge grass Timothy already but she definitely has a taste for the alfalfa but I’ve been widdling it down slowly. I use a sprinkle of alfalfa dust to entice my older buns to eat his Timothy and it seems to work quite well
