  Had to put my baby down yesterday and I already miss him so much. Poor guy was just old deaf and blind. I will always love him.

  I’m so sorry you had to put your bunny down. I know losing a pet is like losing a family member.

  Sorry for your loss. Always painful. Old, deaf, and blind means you took care of him a long time. And all they way to the end. Thanks for loving Groot.

  So sorry to hear about Groot. You must have had him a long time and had many wonderful years with him and gave him lots of love and care.
  
  It’s so hard when a beloved bunny passes the rainbow bridge lots of people just don’t understand the grief.

  Thank you all so much. I only had him for about 2 years and adopted him partially blind but he was my baby. My first bunbun!! Some people think I’m crazy for being sad but I’ll miss him and I just put my poor dog down about 6 months ago so a lot of grief in this house.

  I’m so sorry for your loss. Thank you for adopting him, I imagine his last 2 years must’ve been wonderful for him.
  
  There’s nothing crazy about being sad when you have lost a bunny. They become so very dear to us. People that haven’t had a rabbit often seem to have a hard time understanding that. That’s their loss, in my opinion.

  Companionship comes in many forms…. when it isn’t there any more (whatever “it” is) – the hole which remains is huge and hurts.
