  Our six month old Polish rabbit, Shady has had a sudden behavior change in the past week or so. After he was neutered two months ago, he was easily litter trained and much calmer. Two weeks ago we purchased him a new cage and he seemed very happy to have more space. Just recently he’s been pooping in piles on the couch (where my husband sits), dumping his food bowl onto the cage floor, grunting at us and pooping and peeing on his cage floor. He’s always been “spirited” but this is quite a drastic change – doesn anyone have any thoughts?

  It’s been too long since the neuter to be a hormonal spike, so my guess is that he’s marking his new territory (new cage) and all that’s around it.
  Have anything else changed in the house? New detergents? Scented stuff? A friend got a new dog or cat and you brought the scent home?
