My bunny Mocha is getting pretty big now, and I’m in the process of moving him to a different area. The area is 6 ft by 8 ft, but I really am in need of help w/ some of the parts. Could you please reply with pictures of your bunny’s space so I could have some inspiration? Thank you so much!!!!!!!!

I don’t have the space for any of these suggestions, but here are two that people and bunnies seem to really like.

          1) use a bunch of NIC grids to make a large space for him. I think Dana has a NIC grid setup that’s 3 wide x 4 long x 2or3 high. He’s a Holland, so that would be a really good amount of space for him. You could even add a level so he has a place to hop on. My buns have a shelf in their cages that they absolutely love.

          2) use either a large x-pen itself, or an x-pen attached to a cage to create a front door. Before my buns needed to be separated, they were in a large x-pen and it gave them so much space.

          3) this might not be ideal for you, as I know it often isn’t, but a lot of people give their buns an entire room to themselves

I give my bunny and entire room to run around in, certain parts are blocked off and the room is rabbit- proofed. If you do choose this decision you should potty train your rabbit to avoid cleaning up to many messes.

Have a look on pinterest or Google “bunny indoor housing” You will be amazed at some of the set ups!

My rabbits have their own room and I plan to buy them a large wooden castle with ramps and tunnels. I’m so excited !

What is an X Pen that everyone is talking about?

                      Thank you all!

What I’m thinking of doing is having a cage w/ a large X-Pen attached to it. Half of the cage will be the litter box, and the other half will be a bed-like space with Mocha’s water bottle, pellet dish, and hay rack.

Inside the X-Pen I’ll have a small castle with a few tunnels and ramps (Thank you so much sarahthegemini) as well as a cute cushion/bed and toys

Thanks again for your ideas, they really helped!!!!
