        Heya everyone!

So, in the two+ months I’ve had Artemis, she’s bitten through about two or three of my phone chargers. I’ve made a point of keeping them in a place that she can’t reach, but it only takes her seconds to bite it once and make it useless. I’ve even gone to the point of buying them in packs now, just so I have a stash of them.

I was just wondering if any other bunny owners had figured out a way to solve this problem? With work and having to communicate with family, I can’t be without a phone for a couple of days when she does chew up one, and I also just don’t have the money to be constantly buying them! I did buy one of the tougher, “rope” kind of chargers in hope that if she got it it wouldn’t be too damaged, but I figured this can’t be a problem only I had haha.

        Thanks! <3

{I was also curious if there are any Discord servers for bunnies that anyone could suggest to me? :,) )

Cord protectors Theres all kinds: fabric, thin plastic, hard plastic, copper coil, etc. You have to find one that works well for you that stops your buns.

For phone chargers, my boyfriend and I use thin fabric. We get to the bunnies quickly when we hear it being chewed so the cord is always safe. We do need to update the plastic once in a while, though. For our computers (on the off chance the bunnies break down our pen guarding the computers), we use a mix of tight thick fabric/rope, and some copper coils. Our bunnies dont like the smell of copper so they avoid those, and the thich fabric/rope has been bitten only a few times, but you cannot tell; you would only have known if you were there to see it happen.

Hello! This is a common problem, and I feel like cord-protectors are super underrated. They make small ones, so it isn’t a huge tube around your cord, and its definitely the best solution found so far.

Also 3-5 layers of heavy-duty duct-tape would work, but don’t let your bunny chew it for TOO long!

With either of these solutions, if you catch your bunny chewing on them, even protected, make sure to immediately take it away, to attempt to stop (or at least slow down) these habits.

            Have a great day, -L

Love your response, Mikey!  Learned some new stuff I didn’t even know yet.
