Hey everyone,
I’m relatively new here on the forum and realised I never did a post introducing myself & my bun Sam!
He’s a 3 month old lionlop, white and brown, my housemate says his markings are similar to a fawn’s <3
He’s semi free roam (currently just in my bedroom when I’m out at work, with the run of our little flat when I’m home). He usually hangs out in the same room as me anyway
He’s super bold, stubborn, and affectionate. Doesn’t get bothered by loud noises(in fact he usually hops around in the way of the vacuum) and loves laying down next to me for strokes. Apart from the more-than-occasional carpet digging so far he has been an angel of a bun!
It’s wonderful to have recently become part of the forum and we’re lucky to have so many friendly and knowledgeable bunny owners here

Yes, I think I got very lucky with how gorge he is, considering how I got him – forgot to mention in his introduction post! I was willing to adopt any kind of bun, boy or girl, with no colour preference or anything like that decided! I found him on a local ad where a young mum had bought him for her 3 year old but the kid just didn’t take an interest and neglected him (it’s far too young to have a pet!). The mum knew he needed to go a home where he’d get some real love <3 since he was in his cage 24/7 on a bed of wood shavings being fed bunnyjunk pellets, no hay and slices of carrot :'(
I kept his name though! He’s named after Fireman Sam
(a kids cartoon here in the U.K. for those who don’t know) – kind thought it suited him. -
Good thing you rescued him! I remember being 3 and being a terror to our two poor cats. I can only imagine how I would’ve been around a bunny xD It’s good he went to you who gives him lots of love and attention! The best thing for a bunny
You think he looks gorgeous now? Wait till he molts and those beautiful brown spots on his back become a gorgeous dark chestnut color.
