I’m on day tree of bunny bonding with my two nine year old girls that aren’t nuterd. Each I let both out rabbits and today and they both sat facing each other with there heads on the ground. They would sit like this until we split them up. Then both would go arround and sniff the room but when they passed each other again they would sit like facing each other again. I’m really confused about what this behaviour means because I really want this bond to work.
Thanks for all your help a confused bunny owner.

They are putting their heads down because they want to be groomed.

The larger bunny willow also thumps every time she passes the other bunny snowy. Dose this mean that she doesn’t like her?

Basically. Willow perceives her as a threat, hence the thumping. Thumping also indicates general dislike. Bonding them when they aren’t spayed is most likely not going to end well. Females are notoriously territorial, which is probably why you’re running into some road blocks. Hang in there though

                  Are you using neutral territory?
