Here are our 11 week old Holland Lop brothers…….Tigger & Thumper. They are soooo cute and very affectionate too, they love to be petted.

Looks like they are going to stay pretty small…..at 11 weeks they still look small. Tigger weighs 1lb 11.5oz & Thumper weighs 1lb 10oz.

We are having some issues but will ask advice in the behavior forum.

        Tigger….Harlequin color

Thumper…….Blue Eyed all white with a little grey & fawn color on his back area, was told he’s a broken magpie color.

Welcome! They are adorable. I will mention that, unless there are already signs of testicle development, it’s likely one or both could actually be female, due to their age and what rabbit genitalia look like that young.

Do you have preparations for separating them? It seems odd, but rabbits do not have a sense of family, so once their hormones kick in, they may fight, potentially reproduce, etc.. Bonding, which you’ll find information about in the BUNNY INFO portion of this site, can give you insight on this!

My Holland Lops were 2 pounds at that age. At almost 10 months they are both 5 pounds! You just never know. They are precious!
I also agree with Wick about separating them ASAP. I was ignorant to the bonding process when I brought my two home, and after 3 weeks in harmony they had a bit of a tussle. That’s when I came here.

            Welcome!

Welcome! They are both just simply adorable!

I will agree with the others, you should separate them since rabbits are hard to sex and they also need to be bonded before they can be together. BUT when they are finally bonded, how cute they are going to be together!

Thank you all. I do agree we are going to have to separate them soon as we have noticed some changes in the last week:

                  1. Thumper (white one) has started humping Tigger, who tends to take it for a little bit then just moves away as many times as needed.
                  2. They have already had a fight last week on the 4th….chased each other and there was a little fur from both on the floor. Nothing since except the humping.

They still clean each other and cuddle up etc. They are perfectly fine sitting together on our laps or on the couch next to me.

I will post in the behavior forum for advice on this and a couple other things going on.
