A week ago I lost my precious Mochi to stasis despite me and my vets best efforts to safe him. He was being kept at the vets for treatment and I got the call that he unfortunately did not make it despite my vet trying his hardest to save him. Now a week later one of my other bunnies is sick with a fever. My heart just cant take anymore :'(

I’m sorry BM. Does he have any other symptoms besides the fever? I hope he gets better.

My buns name is Luna as well! She isn’t eating very much at all. We took her to the vet when we first noticed that she wasn’t eating normally and that’s when he found that she had a fever. Other than a fever her chest sounded completely clear, no discharge, teeth looked good and her ears looks good from the outside. My vet really isn’t sure what is causing the fever, he said it is possible that it is an inner ear infection and that it is just too soon for it to have shown in an xray. She is being treated for an infection. She was given fluids at the vet and was put on Cyproheptadine HCI, Marbofloxacin, Cisapride, Meloxicam, and Simethicone. I’m also giving her critical care 3 times a day until she starts eating like normal again. I am just super worried. It is now the third day since we took her in to the vet and started her on meds and she still isn’t really eating anything on her own and shes barely pooping. Her gut is making a ton of noises though.

Poor Luna :/ If her gut is making noises she could be having some gas. Are you giving her tummy massages? They help a lot!
I hope everything goes well <3
