          Wick sleeps from 8AM to 2PM, then 4-5PM, then 7-8PM, then 12AM to 6AM.

That’s like, 14hrs of sleep for Wick, haha.

It’s normal, but if perceive it’s inactivity rather than being tired, please look at his behaviors to see if there may be any I’ll there (i.e. poops, pees, appetite, movement, posture)

Rabbits normally sleep a lot during the daytime hours; my two are always snoozing on the upper level of their two-story “condo” habitat, to catch some sunlight, most of the time between 8 am to 4 pm or so (data collected from observation on weekends). Then they start getting active from 4 pm onwards, but they take frequent breaks to lounge in the X-pen (when it’s erected for their overnight playtime, generally from 5:30 to 6:30 pm depending on when I get home and finish supper to 4 am or so when I get ready to go to work, longer on weekends). As rabbits are crepuscular creatures, they’re most active during the early morning and early evening hours.

So long as it’s sleepiness as opposed to lethargy, I wouldn’t worry. My yin yang duo are most active from about 8pm through the night til about 10-11am. I’m sure during the night it’s a case of being active for a while then rest, then being active etc.

That’s what I’ve seen. When I get up in the middle of the night to answer the call of nature, as the old saying goes, I often see Panda and Fernando lounging and likely napping (this being anywhere between 11 pm and 1 am)! I do my very best to move as quietly as I can, but those ears are too good…

You and me both. I have to get up at an insane hour in the early morning to catch my train in to work, so Panda and Fernando have gotten used to having their breakfast at 4 am.

                      4 AM?!?!?

It’s settled, I’ll never be living in a big city!

The upside is that I can catch an extra hour or so sleeping on the train in, as long as I don’t miss my stop.
