I use the Kong Zoom Groom brush to groom my mini lop, Bunji. I woke up this morning and found the brush on the floor. It looks like Bunji had eaten the pointy ends of the rubber bristles as they are all flattened. I couldn’t find any remnants on the floor so he must have swallowed all of them. He was active and eating as normal this morning, but I am at work now. Could this be a cause for concern or is it possible he would just pass them in his stool? Should we take him to the vet even before we notice anything happening? We still have motility drugs at home from when he had GI stasis this summer. Would it help to give him some now to possibly prevent blockage?

        Thanks for any advice!

Make sure he’s drinking, eating, pooping, peeing, and moving as normal.
There are many times things will just pass through since rabbits chew a lot before swallowing.

If anything changes, go to the vet.

I’m not experienced with motility drugs so I cannot advice.

          Sending vibes!

Good luck! My bun ate just one point from a brush like that, and never had any problems. I hope yours is fine with more.
