I recently got a bunny, and was told that she was a Netherland dwarf bunny. However, in the past few days I’ve been resaarching and my bunny has huge ears and a regular bunny face (at least it looks like that to me). So, I’m questioning the credibility of the pet store. LOL, if anyone is good with breeds I’d appreciate the help, I can’t post photos on here but my instagram is @danii_eq, if you’d like to take a look at some photos (I have a private account, sorry about that). If there is any other way I could share a photo, let me know and I’ll do it so you don’t have to go through the trouble of Instagram lol. I’m interested in what people think she is!

I don’t think anyone can see you photos if you have a private account. Why are you unable to upload a pic? Maybe we can help.

Pretty much always question he credibility of a pet store when it comes to rabbits. They sell a lot of bad rabbit products (small cages, shampoos) and bad diet products (trail mix food), and the employees may try to give recommendations when they don’t actually know much (i.e. say bathing a rabbit is necessary, a small cage is large enough, wire flooring is okay, hay is optional…). They typically don’t sex rabbits accurately either, but that’s a common phenomenon.

Agree with Wick. Pet stores will often label any bunny mix “Dwarf” because it tells people the bunny is going to stay small and cute. Most likely your bunny is a mix of 2 or more breeds. And I’m sure very adorable (never saw a bunny who wasn’t).
